Hello!

I got Problems using some German sites in Online Videos:
RTL (www.rtlnow.de), SuperRTL (www.superrtlnow.de), VOX (www.voxnow.de), RTL2 (rtl2now.de)
All three stations belong to one company, the URL's look alike and they use the same CMS for their websites, so I think it's the same problem!

If I want to start a video, it loads and loads and loads... going up to 70% buffering, then falling down to 20%, then going up again... it will never finish. Pressing the back-button causes MediaPortal to hang up, so I've got to restart it by Task Manager.

I saw the problem the first time about two weeks ago. I updated the plugin, but that didn't solve the problem.
In a post from January 29, offbyone wrote RTL and VOX were broken, but then he wrote they would work again. I guess that was another problem with these sites.

I've tried to download some videos using Online Videos.
That worked fine, I got flv-files on my HDD. But they are not playable in any way. VLC, MPC-HC... nothing works.
So, I've tried to demux them using StaxRip.
(For those who don't know that, it's a GUI for a bunch of converting-tools)

I could post logs from other series from RTL, SuperRTL, Vox... They really look alike, the only difference is the filename and kbps-rates!

Obviously, the flv-files don't have a correct index. And I'm not quite sure the file is big enough to be the complete episode. It should be 20 - 25 minutes...

I guess RTL splits the "streams" (h264, aac) and the index-information in 2 files to prevent exactly what we're doing: watching RTL without using the "special-flash-player-thing" on their website.

Is there a way to fix this problem?
I don't have any other ideas what I could do.

PS: As you can guess, I'm German and my English is not as good as it should be. If it sounds "unfriendly" or something like this here or there, that wasn't my intention! If something is not clear what I tried to say, just ask, I will try to explain it better ;-)

When I last fixed the German RTL based sites, I was able to play their videos just fine, so I guess they recently changed this and this time it sounds pretty bad for us.

Can't confirm this too.
I did a quick test and VOX Now (mieten kaufen wohnen) and RTL Now (Wer wird Millionär) worked.

I just tried RTL-Now -> Ritas World -> first clip and it showed the problem.

Strange thing.. Wer wird Millionär from 24.2.2012 definitely works here while Ritas World doesn't. (Buffering endlessly)
So it seems not the whole page got changed.

What I remember what I tried: Ritas Welt, Alles Atze, Nikola, Die Camper, Die Schulermittler
Some of these series are available on RTL and SuperRTL, didn't make any difference for me.

The file should be available for one week only anyway I'll try to get some logs of a bad file and see if georgius can shed some light on it. (At least we should try not to freeze MP).
