You have to use the skin-file for Arcsoft and link to that file, the Window-ID is 8080. Setting the ArcSoft player as a DVD-player is wrong, you don't have to configure anything there. If you use any of the standard-skins the plugin will allready be active in your main-menu.

If I use ffdshow and unchek AC3 in ffdshow config->output->pass-trough then the shrill sound dissapears. The same if I disable spdif passthrough in AC3filter. The spdif passtrough seems to be the cause.
But there is no shrill sound with the stand alone players with passtrough enabled?

thanks for the fast reply. I have now uninstalled the codecpack so I got rid of DirectVobSub and haaile splitter. After uninstalling the pack I installed ffdshow seperately. The same movies still don't work. I get audio and random flashing stuff on my screen :o.
