both did not work.
Renaming the files does not change anything.
Setting MPA also doesn't help. In the graph, MPA Decoder Filter now appears but is it not connected to anything.
Should I try deregistering the WMAudio Decoder DMO?

well. You can define presets within ffdshow and tell it, when these should be applied. I haven't played around with those much. In the Live-TV graph the filter "live.tvt" is added, so you might choose this option to let a preset kick in. Or you could add the file extension *.dvr-ms.

I'm trying to get Nvidia's Purevideo codec to work with MP in Vista Ultimate 32bit. My problem is there is a black bar flickering at the top of the picture in TV mode.
