i see this alot, the screen is been turned off, disable any power options which turn the screen off in windows
It doesnt work as you would expect when mediaportal is running, its not until the video stops, it instantly turns off the screen
also check in mediaporal configuration, try turning off screeensaver/idle timer.

You should post this in the forum / thread of the skin you are using, because it is up to the skinner to decide if he also wants to show the title below the icon or not. You can also try different skins to see what each offers and then request something similar with a screenshot for your prefered skin.

I Think I solved it.....Uitzendinggemist probably missed a cookie. I played one stream via the browser and afterwards I tried to play another stream via MP. Then it worked.
