I think I might have this same problem, I have extremely heavy stuttering with ripped bluerays where the file sizes are large (i.e. 20GB files or above) however the network usage is very low and wireshark doesn't seem to show any problems. I don't have the problem with the same files stored locally and so far live TV is unaffected...

Thanks for the reply. I couldn't get it to work with Media Portal a few years back, but Vista View have updated their drivers since then. As they say, it works ok with Vista Media Center - also with Sage TV on XP. Will try again soon. The card is on a different computer than this one right now.

If you use FFDshow audio decoder it can increase the master volume up to 300%
Its on the Volume section on the FFDshow config

As long as the tuner doesn't require a cable connection to the soundcard (some old cards required this) then it should work fine. In that case you could install the far more up to date AVIVO package. I *highly* recommend the ATI encoders from AVIVO. They seem to be very stable and the CPU requirements are very reasonable. See here for...

Becouse i found out that it is not always happening, so maybe the dvbt card does not have as good signal reception as settopbox?
