I had the same problems with wake up, too.
From fresh installation (OS=XPMCE and MP=0.2.3.0RC1+SVN) all worked fine.
After some config changes in TVE3 I had the same problem again:
- manual suspend worked, then wake up worked
- going to standby with Power Scheduler, no wake up

Depends on the types of PCI slots in your Server. There are numerous SATA controllers around up to 12 SATA ports.
I still think you'll have the same issue though as server's aren't built for standby & resume.

When the server hard drives are accessed for the first time AFTER resuming from standby, the server will hang for about 15 seconds...

I have now managed to get to the PC while the wife is out. I have run ScanChannelsBDA and the log from it is attached. It does look as though Mux2 is a bit low on quality but I would not have thought it waould have made that much difference unless Pinnacle tuners have a problem.

I think you have a corrupted DX9 installation, but sounds a bit late, as you have resolved the problem by installing Vista (DX10 overwrites existing DX9 files).
If WMP will not work, then MP which relies on WMP will also not work, again this is for the benefit of anyone else with a similar problem who reads this.
