I have been flipflopping between MediaPortal and BeyondMedia for a month or so looking only for a way to play my AVI movies...
removed old error.log and tried again. Error.log was all chinese text (?) and very big. Anyhow i did a search for mp3 and jpg and found it stopped on an jpg image.
The image was not in the folder, so it must be in the tag. Removed the folder and scan is working again.
Now i'll go replace the tags.

I can get the cards visible in setup but no channels are registred.
I think there is some element missing of the sound, as seen in graphedit.

- There exists several driver types for your card. MP needs the BDA drivers, no WDM drivers.
