I called Hauppauge and they had me try the card in another computer running a different version of Windows (XP x64) and it had the same problem, so they RMA'd the card. We'll see if the replacement fares any better!

I am assuming that somewhere someone has probably done what you want, but with lord knows how many bits and pieces etc etc etc.
I would say it may be better (and easier) to get a card that does support the diseqc switching and then sell your card on...

agree with these comments very much. the antec fans are not good (=quiet) enough in the micro fusion. disappointing as I have had larger antec case with 120mm fans that are "good enough" from silence point of view.
