I know but I would really prefer to use the main menu "TV button" . I want to make my HTPC my main attraction in the living room and in order to get the approval of the wife I have to make it as user friendly as possible.

Why not have an option to use an external program to watch TV. This way you can bypass all incompartibility problems with software...

My analog tv-card (Saphire theatrix) is quite a bit louder than my digital one (terratec T2). Scary when I switch channels :-)
