Ok....using 0.7.26 i had no problems with my tv-series and turning off the automatically use of MediaInfo in Moving Pictures solved my problem with importing and playing movies.
I only miss the icons now but i can live with that for now.

This is a known limitation that we'll be working to improve. For now, the simple fix is to disable the Local Data provider for your backdrops.

i've got 2 different movies (with its corresponding .nfo file with a imdb link), they have the same name but one is the original...
I did see the same problems.
I also tried to change the fontsize in Windows to 150%, gave me a few problems so i changed back to 100% and cleared the cache.
But i still have problems now with moving pictures, the semi-transparent backdrop is still missing.
How can i fix that?
