I recently rebuilt my HTPC (actually several times) and noticed something different to me (I think)
From within MovingPictures, when I scroll through my movie collection, the icons/graphics display if its a DTS or stereo movie, or if its SD or 720p or 1080p, etc.
But I seem to be missing some icons that I had before...

In Moving Pictures configuration, select the movie then one of the buttons is Send to Importer where you can reassign.
I think only one fanart per movie is currently supported.

My bad, LFalk pointed out you already posted the log files. And I noticed something weird.
It seems that MovingPictures freaks out over your usage of Ý in the import path.
Because I see that internal properties get messed up, which is why nothing shows (as they no longer match up).
Now I'll talk to developers to get this...

Have you tried the procedure that worked for me? In my case it was just one movie that was causing the same problems you have experienced. I bet that if you add just one DIR containing just one movie, the movie will play just fine.

Currently I am using moviemeter.nl to retrieve details for my films, it's quite accurate and the info is in Dutch, which is better...
Ok im a bit lost on how to create a category based on folder only. I only see filters and the option to add or remove certain files. But this would be a pain with many files.

This may sound odd but is there a way i can have moving pictures just display the movies i have watched as a filtering option?
It runs a lot better than normally... I don't know about the cpu load, because my CPU is powerfull enough. But when scrolling fast, by holding ex right arrow key. Lag is really close to 0. But of course Mediaportal do not run as smooth as ex. XBMC, thats a fact..

The problem is that 'Genres' is a dynamic category, meaning the tree structure is generated automatic based on other data. In this case the 'Genre' field on the movies in your collection.
