if your movies are in seperate folders eg e:\movies\batman\batman.avi
then create a file called e:\movies\batman\info.txt
info.txt should contain the following line

I fixed it, Thanks ,, I copied moving picture xml(4 of them all of them ) from zip folder and put them in mediaportal skin folder(overrite)

I had the same problem with a fresh install of win7 and mediaportal, so I know there wasn't a conflict with the existing files being overwritten.
I ended up just taking the movingpictures.dll from a working system and manually putting it there and worked fine.

Recently I have been getting truncated backdrops and coverarts from themoviedb.org.
It was running fine until a couple of weeks...
