Going to need a lot more than this to be able to help you. What version of MediaPortal are you using? Are you on Moving Pictures Beta 2? What skin are you using? Can you provide screenshots of the issue? Debug log files from when the issue occurred? And are you getting any error popups in the GUI?

You could just use the Windows drive manager to assign drive letter H: instead of G: and be done with it.
Right click "My Computer" -> Manage -> "Disk Managment" -> right click the drive and -> "Change Drive Letter and Paths"

Don't know WHY it was a problem... just changed a 1 to a 0 for a label ID in one of the imported xml's.

Yes, we plan to change this. What we really should be doing is respecting the path values in the mediaportaldirs.xml file. We actually do read from there for the initial settings, but if it is changed later, this change is not detected in Moving Pictures.

Sorry to hijack the thread, but it is related. I got MP v1.0.2 as well with MovPic v1.0.0 Beta and eventhough Categories work fine...
Using MP 1.0.2 is fine. I am saying that when you run the Moving Pictures 1.0 Beta installer it will install the required Blue3Wide skin files and you should then not see the error message you are referring to. The Blue3 skin files actually will not be included in the installer until 1.0.1 though (coming very soon).
