Just for clarification: MyFilms and AMCupdater use their own scripts - and those are not the same like as the scripts used by ANT Movie Catalog. So you might either pull internet informations via AMCupdater OR use ANT Movie Catalog to update movie infos.

The error you mention I got after manually editing the myfilms xml config file. So maybe there is something wrong inside - you can try to enable a default config, this once fixed it for me (seems restructuring some data). Otherwise just delete or rename the config file and create a new one.
