Tonight, 2.3.3589 suddenly started crashing on me when browsing through the available series. It never seems to be the same series...
I use 2 thumbs myself, one to control the remote control button to pop up the menu, and the other to press the digit that corresponds to the "Toggle watched status" option. The focus then automatically switches to the next unwatched episode, so you can do this really quick in sequence for a lot of episodes.

when i watched an episodes of one of my shows it wont be shown as watched afterwards. Thge strange thing is the first 2 episodes are marked as watched. Setting them as watched manually in the plugin doesnt work they still have the flag 0 means unwatched.

No you cant have two instances of the plugin running. You can create a documentaries view and a Fictional series view, then add your series to each one. You can do this with-in MediaPortal gui by invoking the menu on a selected series or in Configuration under the views tab.
