if they are broadcasted via DVB / terrestrial and your TV card supports the corresponding format it will be picked up via TV card.
If they are broadcasted via Internet they are not picked up by your TV card.
Sorry for this answer but I cannot provide better information without knowing your system specification...

3. MediaPortal .2.3 finds all channels and works fine with HDhomerun.
