I noticed that TVserver uses 'A/B' for LNB2 whereas 'others' i.e. DVBVIEWER use 'A/B' for LNB3 and 'B/A' for LNB2.
It's a minor point, but it got me confused and i'm not even sure about what is the correct syntax, but i think the DVBVIEWER way is most common.

It seems there is a bug in XMLTV import in TV server. Some XML files (which seem OK) are not being imported.

Ah..the dummy functionality is useful when you start from scratch with analog channels via a STB for example. The quickest way to get the channels in is to build a TVGuide.xml, I use XMLTV GUI, and let MP import it. I have now managed to sort out the problem, well to an extent anyway. I had to delete the DB and start from scratch, re-add all my analog channels then re-scan (few reliability issues with that part, locks-ups, TVServer crashes) and then combine the channels avaiable accross all my sources.
