Two changes one you may know about "CITV".
Men & Motors has gone, and a new station called "ITVPlay" has appeared.
Apparently it starts broadcasting on the 19th April.

I had similar issues with the text in the program info being very difficult to read. I edited the fonts.xml file in my skin folder upping the text fonts generally by 2 points e.g. font heights upped from 13 to 15. Gave very satisfactory results. remember to delete the fonts directory in the skin folder before restarting MP

Spot on in both files. Have just removed programs again from database and deleted tvguide.xml.
Rerun webepg and now files are showing the 1 hour difference.
If i go into MP home/settings/tv/xmltv, it still will not change E4+1 from E4, is this another problem altogether?

Select within MP/Settings/TV/XMLTV Map channels to relevant names and all seem fine...

The proxy settings in Internet Options -> Connections -> LAN Settings was enabled!
I turned it off, and voila! it worked again! :)

1. I never dreamt that WebEPG.exe used the proxy settings from there.

Thanks for the info. It is set to cable and United states. The channels programmed were already there from the previous install of Media portal. Everything worked perfectly until i set up the Program guide. I will check out the CVS after I manually go in and delete all the channels and re enter them.

I finally updated to the latest version of Media Portal this morning. I absolutely love it. My local cable channels worked right...
it would be great if you could have webepg read data from the zap2it xml file and map the channels and info it downloads. Zap2it runs alot quicker than downloading from tv.yahoo.com. But i do enjoying the mapping feature of WebEpg. It would be great if you could combine the two.

Does tvinfo or tvmovie give better descriptions in Germany? I get some (very small) descriptions with both of them, but only tvmovie seems to give "categories". I already switched "details" on for every channel on tvinfo, but the info is very short (2 or 3 words).

Thanks for the feedback. In my setup it is well over 30 seconds to import the file - maybe not as high as 5 minutes but it is over 1 minute. My setup is a 3GHz Pentium with 1GB ram - but because I have *lots* of channels (Foxtel + FTA) my guide is routinely 13000+ programs.
It would be great if I could somehow trick...

Do you have the channels set up through MP or not?
If you run DUGG with whatever service you want it will generate you an XML file. Copy the file into your xmltv directory under MP ( if you don't have it setup to generate there ) and run MP setup. It will read the XML file and import the channels automagically for you.

Sorry it took me a while to notice this post.
TUGG was crashing because the web-site from which it grabs data had technical problems.
Basically the program was looking for information that was not there, and crashed as a result.
As far as I know the web site is working again and TUGG should now work without problems.
