Hi, first time posting here. I installed Online Videos plugin about 9 months ago, mostly hoping to watch TVNZ and TV3 (New Zealand) OnDemand programs, but 90% of the programs don't play. I guess no one bothers updating them URL's or whatever is required.

But I did use to watch the live Nasa TV feeds occasionally, which was working well up to a couple of months ago when it stopped working. Under Nasa / Nasa Live TV there are 3 items. The first one Nasa TV has never worked, but the 2nd one Nasa Digital Media did always work and was often coverage of the control room. This stopped working.

I was using v1.2 of the plugin and updated to 1.3 hoping that might help, but no go. I see further up this page that others also can't use the standard configuration and need to fiddle with configuration files. Is that what we have to do these days?

If you can give me some examples of videos that don't work I can take a look at it (providing my nz-vpn still works).

Gametrailers and IGN aren't working anymore.

Gametrailers shows the main categories (PC, Xbox, etc) but nothing once those are selected and IGN just shows links to sub-pages of the website, such as

Right, this is how I like it. A neat report so I get alarmed to do something, and a post here, so I could discuss further issues with it.

IGN is working again, but as I'm a) not using it myself, and b) too lazy to document stuff, I'm not sure if I'm missing some categories/subcategories, so if that's the case, please report!

I think I have requested before, but for me a really missing feature is the posibility to have some sort options..

By default, the language sort is perfect.. But it would be also very nice to have the possibility to add other groups, without loosing the language sort option.. Now you have to choose.. OR language groups OR manual added groups..

It would be nice if each site have also a genre, so you you can edit sort on genre.. Like "movies, television, sport, porn, etc.."

And the last thing.. Is it still not possible to have hyperlink parameters for a language group? I really like to have an option in my basichome screen where I can go directly to all Dutch sites!

Sort by genre would first require every site to have a genre which it doesn't currently and I don't want to set one for all 313

Still think you should get at it the other way around...
Is there a significant difference for you in f.e. "swedish" or "czech"? If not, then there is no need to diffentiate those 2 and by extension, probably also for the rest of the languages (except dutch ofcourse, and grunings ).
You'll then end up with 1 or 2 languages you'll understand, and one "other" group.

Still think it's easier then to manually create those 2 or three groups, and leave the rest in the "other".
As a bonus, you can directly link to one of those groups (not 100% sure, didn't try that myself), and you can add a "fun","sport" etc as you like it.

Thanks offbyone.. Is this also allready possible with the latest stable release of OnlineVideos? (1.3.0) or do I need to have a latest SVN..

Offcourse you didn't do it on you own! But do you understand the idea and do you like it? If you want to give me the job, I will sort everything and put it into an excel file or something like that if that makes it easier for you to implent.. Would be really nice to switch between different genres so easy..

Haha, yeah I'm not so sharp today.. I think you have a point there.. The only problem is, when I have a group Dutch, English (and Grunings ) and a new website is published, it doesn't came automaticly to the right group, and than I mis it.. Do you know what I mean? So if each site get it's own genre, it's always loaded right..

I think it's bad that you have to choose between languages OR groups.. It would be nice to have the option to create groups, but can still change to language groups inside MP..

EDIT: Doskabouter, I also have seen that SBS6 is a bit limited on how many programs you can watch back.. Is there maybe a way to include this? http://www.sbs6.nl/programmas There you can select all programs and watch them back.. (as it was)
