Can anyone help me? I've been trying all day to get this plug in working, but allways fail at the last screen.

How do I fill in the settings needed?

Before I post logs etc just wondering if anybody else has had this problem since updating to 1.0.

0.2.2 - all videos played ok
1.0 - videos buffer up to around 3% then MePo freezes.

Any ideas? Tried uninstalling LAVF, makes no difference. Re-installed it, re-registed the urlsource ax. No change.

I may have the same problem. With Online Videos 0.33.0.1 all channels would play just fine. But since I upgraded to MePo 1.2.2.0 the plugin would not auto update so I installed the latest Online Videos 1.0.0.0. Although it connects to the internet and updates the content it will not play any video. I always get a 'Unable to play video. No url' error message. Now I haven't submitted any logs as my graphics card is an old PCI one so my PC isn't up to the specification required for Mediaportal, but it worked fine until now. :(

You don't have to fill in anything there. This screen is for testing codecs... (by clicking on test button)

I can't even get a site menu. Maybe it's because I upgraded OnlineVideos before upgrading MP. When I start OLV, it also refuses to update, saying "1.0.0.0 required", and then displays no content, only the left menu. I then tried to call up the configuration, but got the error message "The type interface for 'OnlineVideos.Hoster.Base.HosterFactory' threw an exception".

    Logs attached.

Hey guys, I had the same problem.. The solution was:

Run this .ax file manually: MPUrlSource.ax

    It's located at: C:\Program Files (x86)\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\MPUrlSource

After running it I was able to play all videos again..

    OnlineVideos 1.0.0.0 working!

I think I had a more basic problem than the other guys. I tried reinstalling OLV 1 and got an error message after the installation had reported success in its dialog box.
The error message read: "Access to the path 'C:\ProgramData\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\Installer\V2\269bd257-7ce5-450a-b786-1c2834c81849\1.0.0.0\269bd257-7ce5-450a-b786-1c2834c81849.mpe2' is denied." When I clicked OK in the error message dialog, I got a stack trace.
The first time I installed OLV 1, I did so directly from Firefox, instead of first downloading the installer and then running it. Could that have been a factor in these symptoms?
I found the AX file you mentioned under "C:\Program Files\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\MPUrlSource", but I couldn't run it, as it doesn't seem to have a file association.
After reinstalling, I was able to run OLV configuration, as well as the automatic update. I haven't tested a large variety of formats yet, but I can now play at least FLV, MP4 and WEBM from YouTube.

P.S. There are a number of videos, and even sites, which won't play. I get error messages ranging from a simple "Unable to play: ..." to "Unable to play: .... no URL." The most puzzling cases are those where the error message doesn't appear until after several seconds of buffering. However, since most videos on most sites seem to play, I assume that the problem is with the individual videos or the individual sites, and not with OLV in general.

When it's displaying the "unable to play" after buffering it's probably codec-related.

And by running the .ax manually, he means running regsvr32 mpurlsource.ax. For that, open a command prompt as administrator, go to the directory where that ax is located, and then type regsvr32 mpurlsource.ax.
If all goes well, you'll get a message box stating that it's registered successfully!

Hinestly, this is the same issue I have with 1.0 - I tryed the "downgrade" hoping that would not occur with an older version. The major problem is, that if I try to play a Video within the Plug-In I get an error that this can not be done because there's no URL...
