I also tried, I see all the network drives, however,i have configured the network shares in Mediaportal only via UNC path, no drive letters mapped. So i see all my music folders and can also play the music. But still the Music section in iViewer is simply more cool.
BTW: Is there already a timeline for the next release of iViewer?
yesterday I installed iviewer full Version and so far I have Problems connecting to movies. I check several times the database in mpextend configuration and there is nothing wrong. Iviewer says, that movies is inactive. attached mpextend log and MP log.
Thanks
Markus
As I have found out now: the Server isnt going to sleep. Its still awake. Simply playing in stream isnt going to next track and the Wohle stream window isnt reacting. @johanj, any idea on this?
Hi. I really don't use MP for Music and haven't tried the stream music section since I implemented it. I will check it out. Does it happen every time a track changes or after streaming several tracks?
Hi. I wonder if this product will survive even though one of the requirements (MP Extended) seemed to have stopped development? Many user have questions and bug reports but none is answered. Do you know if anyone is still working on it?
I don't have more information about MPExtended development than is posted in this forum. The main developer, Oxan, haven't had the time for this project for quite some time now. dieBagger only created the MPExt. beta build in order for us to release MPiV but he is mainly focused in releasing the next version of aMPDroid rather than working on backend MPExtended on his limited spare time. I also spend my limited time on MPiV and only contribute to MPExt with testing. In the long run a new developer probably need to step in to further develop MPExt. Or if Oxan further on get time to continue.
However, the features of the beta version of MPExt. is probably at least 95% of what is wanted and needed from our side and for MPiV it's quite stable(WebMP on the other side don't seem to work good in the beta relelase). It's a really good backend and I really hope that development will continue in some way. I and Joost are currently working on the next update of MPiV and have no plans to stop development.
We would probably support MP2 further on if they offer a similar API in the future. One other option would be to use another backends, e.g. MediaBrowser. Their api looks really good but one would not get support for tv.

Hi,
my answers to your questions:
I use MariaDB 10.5 and Mediaportal 1.33 x86 as a user, not an administrator.
MP. When I start Mediaportal, no TV service appears to have started.
If I start Mediaportal as administrator everything is ok.
Starting the TV service separately is only possible as an administrator.
If I then start...

I've no idea if this is possible or in the works but I am wondering if the IPTV part of TVServer could be upgraded to support M3U8, HTTPS, HLS or whatever is needed for newer IPTV connections?
