Has anyone else had the issue where if your TV tuner card is not plugged in, then you run MP, plug the card in and MP doesn't detect the card? The only way I found that fixes this is to completely reboot windows. Is there any other way besides rebooting to get MP to detect the TV tuner card once it is plugged in? Thanks.

There was a memory leak in recent svn's that effected music, if you where viewing in any icon mode (listview not effected) then the memory usage went berserk, this is most probably the cause, been fixed for RC3.

Playing ISO's
How's this for a backward problem, I have a machine that I use to test all of my stuff on and an HTPC hooked up to my Living room LCD. I am able to play ISO's on my test machine without mounting Daemon, the box is not checked in config, I click on the file and it just plays. This does not work on my upstairs machine and...

Hi, thanks for your reply.

simple fix
In ref to my earlier post

I had problems with audio sync when i used ffdshow for audio decoding. Never got it to work properly...
But since i switched to ac3filter all my sync problems went away, so you might want to give that a shot.
And i also use CoreAVC for h264 decoding.

From memory, that file should still be in the program files/team mediaportal/mediaportal directory.
Then again, remember that you only need to worry about that if you are using the built in TV Engine and not the TV Server.
You will only be using this if you answerred that you wont be watching HD TV when you were installing...

tutmut2000,
Yes I have found that in my case I must uncheck in AC3Filter the option "check output format support" on SPDIF tab (I use an external processor/DAC).
But it seems you don't use AC3Filter... did you try to add the vobsub filter to the external processing filters in myvideos on MediaPortal configuration?
