Well, I can't test it right now but this tvtool that and-81 mentioned looks like it might work with my card (I've got an old FX 5500). I doubt this will work with your card though since it just flat out won't overscan.

That button is one of the 'hard-wired" buttons in the MCE Remote's HID driver. You can only remap it by disabling the HID driver or moving to the replacement driver (there are consequences for either).

Yea that update really hosed that install, i removed it with "add remove programs" deleted the remaining files in the MP folder and instaled RC3.
Can the "xmltv.dtd" file in the "XMLTV" folder be replaced with the one from the original good install of 0.2.2.0.

OK i had MP 0.2.2.0 running fine and i used the "MediaPortal-update-0.2.0.4.exe" update so i would have the latest stable version...

It's been broken ever since MP used VMR9, if it was easy to fix it would have been done.

As far as I know that is not currently possible but has been requested a few times. You can disable those plugins (weather, etc) but not completely eliminate them from showing on the home screen.

i uninstalled hvr-1300 and updated with the v4 cd from hauppauge
also uninstalled media-portal, deleted folders, then moved to the tvengine and rc3 of media-portal
playback is ok now, just got issues with recording which is something else
