I used the MPV decoder.
Then I tried the Nvidia purevideo decoder and it was the same.
Uninstalled the Nvidia decoder and use the MPV decoder again and then it looks ok? :)
But the sound is a little delayed. Can this be fixed in the "direct show filter control"

K after all that nothing appears to have fixed it.
Another strange thing to add to this:
If I add the card into MP and then add a single channel and view it, only static shows up.
If I open up SageTV and do the wizard I can switch channels and they view fine.
I go back to MP and open the channel again for viewing and now...

Its very rare, but its time for me to get this fixed.
The DVD starts to spin, and the activity led is active for about 30 seconds.
And then nothing more happens - just a black screen.

I don't mean to nag, but is there any chance this has been fixed in a recent release? I'm hesitant to upgrade to a Release Candidate for my main video machine, but would do so if it fixes this problem. If it hasn't been fixed yet, how do I submit an official request to add the feature.

Thanks for your help! I was able to figure out that the problem was with the skin, since it was working with the Xface version. I didn't want to change skins, though, so this allowed me to keep using spinsafe, heheh!

Well, it looks like a major machine/OS problem more than the cards. For some reason MP refused to tune with *any* of these cards but DNTV Live! tuned in fine (with 2 of them at least).
For now I am dropping back to MP2 (was on TVE3) to try and get the WAF level back up again. If I could only find the right CaptureCardDefinitions.xml...

Ok so I actually got Media Portal to start. I uninstalled some of the garbage ATI wanted and found out that the cards drivers are actually hosted on Dell's website and not ATI (gotta love ATI).
