You should do a clean install(no old files from earlier, just rename MP folder to keep them if you need it later) of MP 0.2.3RC2 & latest SVN(use the one from yesterday & not this nights build) available & then run configuration to set up MP, if you still have problems attach your logs to your post & list up your system...

One thing you can test is to rename MediaPortal folder & re run the installer(windows controlpanel -> add/remove -> MediaPortal), then run configuration again -> scan for channels & use default BlueTwo & test again. Do not install any skins, plugins other then those that comes with MP.
