Often, just because I have some mp3 music where the ID3 tag is NOT available MP just tells me "unknown song" and then the lenght...

Add the Setup project (setup.vdproj from the \Setup folder) to the solution, build the setup project and after that you should find setup.exe and setup.msi in the Setup\Release folder if it succeeds.

I understand the issue to be that many boards dont supply quite enough power to internal sockets like they do for external ones. There has also been a couple of reports of the pins being wrong for some people.
