I need a little assistance. I upgrade to MP 1.7 and LAVF 0.61.2 at the same time and now my DVD and Videos do not use the full screen, I have 2 inch gray bars around the video playback. I have the same issue with Media player classic, so I am thinking it is a codec or splitter issue. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Have had this problem occur occasionally in MP 1.6 and just had it again tonight in 1.7.
Basically, when viewing a recording...
When I run the installer for 1.7 to update from 1.6 I get to the point where I need to download wmp which I do. It then seems to run wmp and comes up with "NOT A WINDOWS OR DOS PROGRAM". Thanks mm for your quick response. I will head back over to the Argus forums for help. I managed to fix the TV server errors mentioned in the earlier Argus post, so I thought the log messages were more to do with my MediaPortal or network settings.

Yes, it is running like it should be. Startup takes sometime - I didn't time it but I would guess it is between 10-20 seconds. However, I normally sleep it on power off, so it is not really an issue. No problems with any formats so far and the built-in wireless works fine for streaming from my NAS.

I think this is beyond the capability of our TV Server, simply because the timeshifting load on the HDD would be too much.
I think you need professional IPTV delivery equipment with IPTV set top boxes if you want to do this. Sorry, I can't offer advice beyond that - no experience.

The TV plugin is responsible for deleting the recordings. Argus installs a replacement for the MP TV plugin. Therefore Argus is responsible for the delete behaviour. Please forward the report to Argus developers. :)
