The answer is yes... Just install the TV-Server on the one PC and MediaPortal-Client on the other PC..... Just upgraded to the new version of Media POrtal, plus a new domain as part of a SBS upgrade.
Found that the new release woldnt run as a domain user, and needed to have Write Access to the Program Files folder in which Media Portal was installed.
Error given was:
EventType clr20r3, P1 mediaportal.exe, P2 0.9.1.31062, P3 4808c91d, P4...
