This is really the wrong place for this thread.
Briefly: I suspect you're trying to install MediaPortal 2. I'd advise to go with MediaPortal 1. Newer is not always better. In this case, MP2 is a work in progress; MP1 is mature and stable. There's nothing wrong with MP1.

Never mind. I was able to find the code by searching to find which channel had the listing that matched my channel. Then I saw the pattern:
Channel 18.1 = WCCB
Channel 18.2 = WCCBDT2
Channel 18.3 = WCCBDT3 (this is Me TV where I live)

After hearing of the demise of Windows Media Center, and researching possible replacements, I think I've gone for Media...
It's even stranger this time. Rovi sometimes spells the same show differently. Even on the same channel. Sometimes they replace a capital letter with a lowercase letter. Which means series recordings are missed. Only fix is the make 2 seperate series recordings.

WMC is not using the LAV CODEC. WMC is probably using a different CODEC for the AC3 in the MP TS than it is for the WMC files. Whatever AC3 CODEC WMC is using does have trouble controlling audio volume over HDMI. I have not tried controlling the volume out an analogue connector. Thanks.
