I have problem running MP on my HVR-4000 too... I was waiting for the RC3 hoping this solve the problems with the card. The problem is always the same: channel scan. Any help or suggestion will be appreciated.

I did find out that if i disable the floppydtv it is working fine, but as soon i enable the floppydtv it says again tvservice not running.

You should give the AVIVO codecs a try (free codecs w/DXVA support) and use FFDShow for audio.
