OK Thanks for the tip... will try some other codecs tonight... I have made a little progress, did a complete reinstall of windows, and used my origonal hauppauge drivers. Now MP works for intermitent periods for live TV, but other times crashes horribly (just closes, and task bar is gone).

Whoops! replied to soon. I messed around with it and found out that the Nero DVD Audio and DVD decoder work the best at Normal aspect ratio. This fixes all problems. I found the buttons and settings I was looking for too (just drag mouse to bottom of screen in fullscreen mode). Now all I need is to be able to click on stuff in my DVD...

May be it's bug, may be not, but current version MediaPortal (013) not supported Cyrrilic Language at all. I translate strings.xml...
Ok, I can see what is going on here. It appears that when power scheduler is processing the recording database it handles "Daily" recordings incorrectly.
If you look at the initial entry when I added the recording on the 22nd you see in the log:

It has been this way for as long as I remember, its a problem that isnt easily solved so for now most dialogs have been moved away from the active windows themselves to make it neater. One of the bigger problems is the "Record from..." dialog, which is so big though it cant be helped. Itll get fixed eventually but for now it hasnt...

I tried with 2.6 driver, then changed to beta 2.7_23178 but it is always the same:

I think it was removed simply because there were too many people having performance related problems and it was because they had underpowered systems (software cards require a 2.8Ghz at least and not a lot of software card users have this power).
Whether it was disabled or completely removed I cant tell you.

I'm having these exact issues with no streaming radio when I have my Hauppage remote enabled in the setup.
I'm using MP 0.2 RC1 and a Hauppage 150, all drivers new and fresh.

I can confirm that I get similar behaviour and the same errors whenever I try to play an MP3 file in My Music, and whenever I try to play a wmv stream in My Trailers.
This problem started with CVS 11-06-2005--18-33 and seems to be related to the introduction of .NET Framework version 2.0.
