I managed to solve the menu/display problems with two of the above mentioned DVDs (see link above for settings):

-Die Fantastischen Vier - Viel Live (german)
So no I only have sound problems with these DVDs. I don't know if this is MediaPortal related or a problem of the codecs. I...

Till RC2 release i have no sound from my external source (sat receiver).
I have tried all possibilities with audio-in mapping...
The .CS files are source-code files. So they have to be compiled.
To be able to compile code yopu have to do more then just replace three files.
Normally the devs include new patches into the daily CVS builds which you can download. There is a thread regarding the daily CVS's builds.
With these builds you don't have to bother...

I have the same problem. SS2 with RC2 generally works with some channels but crashs if you change to some special channels like Pro Sieben. I tested with nvidia codec Dscaler and some other, no change.

I tested yesterday the RC2 with newest cvs with my ss2. net2 and sp2 and newest ss2 driver is installed. Everything works fine also the tuning of the channels works.
But very often MP crashs if I changed the channels. Tryed different codecs but this was no solution.
So I went back to 0.1.3

when I will get out of the Internet function, MP will not let me! Normaly I will do that with "ESC". Whats the problem...
It is possibly the same, although when I ran Autotune, it did find all the channels, but with the wrong freqency data for some stations.
Do you know the exact frequency of the missing channels, so that you could add them into the dvbt.xml file, as I did, to force Autotune to find the correct frequency?

you can save your tv-channel settings with the configuration program:
Television->TV Channels and there is a button existing with Backup.
To restore afterwards the information, just use Restore button.
