Hi, this aint exactly solving the problem you have but it is a slight work around that i have found.
If you put the logo of the TV channel into the TV thumbs folder,
[c:/program files/team media portal/thumbs/TV]
It will show the TV channel logo on the screen in question.
So you could make your own image with the channel number...

Not sure whether that is true, as you do have to MAP WebEPG to TV Channels,
As in WebEPG Configuration, Import channels, MAP Channels, Save.
Then run WebEPG, which produces the xmltv file needed for Guide.
XMLTV on the other hand believe is independent, but to use would have to read up on. Sorry no more info on that as have not...
