can someone please explain the exact difference between the preview and the full version?
I installed MPExtended, WiFi Remote and WebMediaPortal and can access everything via Browser from localhost and from the ipad so the basic setup of the requirements work but i cant do anything inside the iViewer. The connection status to any other than WiFi remote is shown as inactive...so is this the limitation of the preview version?
You should see all media including covers, just not be able to select anything.
Please check your mpextended credentials and ip again. Send me logs fom mpextended and mpiv if you dont get it to work, see wiki troubleshooting for that.
Have not read through the Thread yet.... But noticed that the progress of a file (music, tv-series, movies) is not updated while streaming.... Noticed that I can move the slider by myself and that the file will be forwarded or reminded to the slider position... Is it by design ? Would be great to see the progress of a file...
Its currently not possible to update progress of streaming media, limitatins in both MPExt and the video player in iViewer. MPExt cant update progress to the database and the video player in iViewer cant give current playback time. So you need to seek with the slider when not in fullscreen. You can seek within already buffered duration in the regular video player.
Where does the MPiV gets it's Movie-Covers from ? Noticed that it is displaying very often Covers different from the ones I got in my Moving Pictures Database...
Covers come from MPExt. where we pick the first cover if there are multiple ones. Im quite sure that MPExt devs are aware of that this do not correspond to the selection made in moving pictures.

Thanks for the quick answer... Was already wondering, cause it's displaying also covers I've deleted yesterday from moving pictures database... So the covers seem to be cached somewhere.....

Hi,
my answers to your questions:
I use MariaDB 10.5 and Mediaportal 1.33 x86 as a user, not an administrator.
MP. When I start Mediaportal, no TV service appears to have started.
If I start Mediaportal as administrator everything is ok.
Starting the TV service separately is only possible as an administrator.
If I then start...

I've no idea if this is possible or in the works but I am wondering if the IPTV part of TVServer could be upgraded to support M3U8, HTTPS, HLS or whatever is needed for newer IPTV connections?
