1. Not sure I understand what you mean. Is it that you get 'wrong' view after starting music with MPiV?
2. Are you running the sevice with a user with access to the picture shares? Have you tried to configure FS Pictures in MPExt.? Please disable latest pictures since that give issues for some people.

I was just about to reply I worked it out just had to Add the FS Pictures path in MPext and that got pictures working

Re the now playing view after further playing around I've found that when you start a playlist you get the std list view on the tv and this stays up, unless I hit stop then play, the GUI on the screen then goes to the nicer cleaner looking "now playing" view

So basically I now have everything working perfectly, I am blown away with how smooth this looks and over all how simple it was to get working.

@johanj, should volume control work for videos? For me music volume control is working, but not in videos? Is this maybe a config-question in MP?

Are you talking about streaming to MPiV or playing in MediaPortal?

If in MP I assume that your issue is that you have configured pass through for the audio for some audio formats.

Hi,
i installed Version 0.60, Media Portal TV Server an MP Extended ist installed on a Windows 2008 R2 Server, when i start the MP Extended Configurator in the second time, the application Crashed.

My second Problem - i have no Audio stream on my ipad.

How can I resolve the problem?

Check the mute switch on your iPad...

Not sure I follow you, is MPExt running or not? Can you enter mpex. configurator now?

Do you mean that you cant stream music or that no streams has sound?

MP Extended is running, but i can´t start the configurator a second time, the configurator crashed.

No Stream has Sound - (YouTube has Sound)

I would try to close and restart mpext/ configurator.

I bet you have mute on your ipad, not all apps honor this, eg Safari that is used when browsing youtube.

thank you - it was the mute switch, it´s a Hardware switch, i never saw this switch

i close the configurator - an restart - the configurator doesn´s start, it´s a unknown mistake
