This is a bug i think as it reoccured in 1.0.2.
In mp´s config an error message comes up when trying to use USBUIRT configuration reading that no drivers can be found.
After reinstallation of the drivers it works as long as the computer is restarted, then the message comes again.

As far as my experience with subtitles allow me to reply to you, I have 2 options to help you.
The first one is when you are creating the vob file there is an option to include those other languages spoken in the same subtitle file as a regular subtitled speech.

I think I have found the problem.
As soon as I checked the box "Automatically Add Optical Disk Drives" in the Videos / Video Folders section of MP Config, everything started working normally.
Even the weird navigation issue disappeared.
I must have unchecked that box when fiddling with config options for some reason.
