Ya I have the same "loses focus" problem with RC3 and RC4. I have to set MediaPortal to "Always on top" to avoid this problem. But then if MediaPortal locks up while it's always on top then I can't get to Task Manager to kill it, which is very annoying.

Yes,
You need to add the program Mediaportal in Imon. You can define the keys there.
In MP itself you can see which keystrokes correspond to which actions. You need to map those keys in Imon. Also you can search around on this forum. There are probably a couple of .imo files floating around to save you a lot of your mapping work.

Ok Thanks for that - sounds like I missed something in my research somewhere. Sorry for having posted on a known issue.
Concering the FFDshow codecs - on the mp1/mp2 configuration it is set to libmad rather than disabled or mp3lib, there seemed to be no choice for libavcodec.

I noticed (believe I have this since I upgraded to RC4) that when I have set MP to not always be on top (which I prefer) the screensaver will popup after the defined period of time.
Is there any way I can have the screensaver not show when MP is active?

BUT, i installed AC3Filter as you suggested, and its perfect, well kinda.
The video and sound on HD stuff and normal .avi stuff with an AC3 signal is fine.
But anything without a AC3 signal is very very quiet and I cant seem to get it output normally. If I play stuff through Windows Media...

Gentle.config was ok, and hadnt changed the name of the computer.
I Ended up getting around it by uninstalling tvserver (again) and deleting the database (again), then re-installing tv server and making a new database.
Seems to be ok now. (PHEW!)

None of it worked SMA so i turned off the UAC. Now its just like running XP and it works like a charm. Unfortunately the UAC is off but as this is a MP dedicated HTPC i'm not worried.
