After a long and troublesome odyssey, which saw me finally succeed making Mediaportal, my Pinnacle 310i and my TV work together...
Could someone with the knowledge take a look of this, because so much of this remotes buttons isn't used. I have tried to make more buttons to work with that "advanced beta-mode" in setup, but didn't get more buttons to work. Let me know if someone has a trick to get more buttons to work?

However, this has no affect on MediaPortal as Windows Media Player doesn't actually open as an application, therefore, VolumeLogic doesn't kick in.
I use VolumeLogic by using the WinAmp plugin within MP. Works well on an audio basis. The WinAmp / MP bit isn't perfect though...

well there are a lot of factors but what you are asking is based on an output question. The TV card will only handle input.
You will need a Video card with Composite output or Svideo output to connect to your tv or reciever.
