Sounds like you have a few things going on. I can only make suggestions about TV Server issues...
From the looks of your log files for the 14th at 18:06, you're not using a static IP address and when the IP address changes MP is having trouble reconnecting to the TV service.
Sounds like a classic HDMI problem.

I did try every combination of sources but no luck. Weirdly I did have it working on a fresh install on one PC but that was the 1.5 beta. I've gone round installing it everywhere and updated that one to the full release and that is where the issue has hit.

Ok so in case someone else stumbles across this, I used ArgusTV as a recording backend. Has more features like priorities conflict resolution, etc. I'm pretty happy with it, although it was a bit tedious to setup. Seems to integrate very well with MP.
