I have 2 cards in my machine a FusionHDTV (using antenna) and a Hauppauge PVR-150 (for input from a STB) as MP doesn't recognize...
Still listed as a bug in mantis so I dont think there is a way yet. I find its only a problem using WMP10 visualisations, if I use those really basic 'Battery' ones then it runs quite good. Kinda slow to enter or exit fullscreen when they're running though.

Compared to Got All Media, your FullScreen visualisation are very slow.

beware - as i said the support for a mouse/trackball is not really good in MP, for instance not as good as in meedio.
i cant open the osd in dvd playback, in the tv part several functions are not easy to access by a mouse....

I mean, when you think about what the most common/likely action is, it will be to navigate the files, not to change the view setting.
I'd actually like to see all the menu buttons go away to some sub-menu, maybe only visible when you press the "menu" button. That would also leave a lot more...

yes they are hardcoded. And no, 'cd' does not implement svcd, vcd, etc. Everything after a keyword is removed. So removal of 'cd' from 'svcd' would lead to 'sv'.
Making a external list is a nice idea. Do not know, if one of the coders can implement it.
And yes to above '_' and '.' are already replaced with empty spaces...
