Yeah, I agree that the project could be mostly coded separately from the PVR core. It could supply the PVR developers with a COM object/ .NET library/dll or suchlike, with all the details about talking to the server encapsulated. I know that both MP and GBPVR use .NET.

I was wondering why not just use full regex expressions for template matching tv programs and where ever possible...
Don't switch :) MP1 is designed to be only a fullscreen HTPC application and it has some severe design limitations in the skin engine that causes lot of the workflow information to get missing when toggling around directx modes / size etc.
MP2 will be handling that better.

The title is self explanatory but the ability to resume media (tv, videos) when switching between full screen mode and windowed...
Still, it's just too annoying for me that this bug or this simple missing feature is in MP.

To make MP as easy to use and non-scary for the average punter as possible, I think it's vital that they can re-scan for channels...

When watching live TV and a scheduled recording comes in between, it now says "Timeshifting is stopped for a scheduled recording". It would be much better if MP alerts the viewer and then changes to the channel that is recording at that moment.
