I had the problem that I could not connect to the mysql server. I looked high and low for the answer. For me, it ended up being that I had the Telnet service disabled on my computer. It must be enabled for the TV Service to work correctly.

the databases that hold the TV tuning data and the video/music/pics/etc folders are not compatible with the newer 1.1.2 version
u will need to set that all up again..
it doesnt take long to do if u wish to update MP
when installing it tells u that u need to do a fresh install... id suggest u do so
