After the download is complete, the installer will show you the folder where the files are located.

I get this error installing MP (see image). Deploy Tool stopped installing TV-Server. I reinstalled MySQL (5.1.53)...
The channel changing was actually quite easy- I use serial tuning and just specify different COM ports for each of the tuners. What I can do, as a work around, is define two completely different channels with the same Guide Data, but different analog tuning settings. However, then I have duplicates in my guide.

Just in case someone else was following this thread...
The problem was that TV Server was using incompatible software encoders. We eventually managed to solve this problem by upgrading to MediaPortal 1.2.0a and prioritising the ATI encoders.

If you have separate video and audio output on your cable box, I would use that to connect to the TV Card's A/V inputs for the cable, and use just the antenna connectors for OTA reception, then use the Blaster to change the cable box. This way you won't have to worry about OTA degradation.

What I still don't understand is why artists always gets displayed on the album level. But now it automatically combiles them into "various artists". As said, that solved my problem.

Confirmed - Extended picture plugin works fine to play videos in pictures folder
