I am trying to perform a single transponder scan in version 1.1.0 Beta, but the button is grayed-out.
The work-around seems not valid within this version since I can not find any ini file in the Media Portal folder.

Also the video card you use does not help youre CPU decoding the video.
It might work with a video card like 9400GT or an HD4350, but you wont get them for AGP.

You could try this card. It is also very cheap, but hardware encoding. I had the European version of this and it worked fine with MP.

Which DVD playing software are you using, default?
I have issues if I stop an iso. It plays ok but if I stop it then MP crashes so I have to reboot or end task. I am using the default 1.0.2 install.
Also the OSD (on screen display) when I play a movie always appears behind the movie. Hence I never really use FF etc. OSD works fine...
