i have MediaPortal installed on my dell latitude D610 laptop.
this laptop has a SMC IrCC - Fast Infrared Port...
What is fixed is simply the support itself, so that mp reacts again on mce ir signals.
But the behaviour of the green button stays as it always have been in win7/vista/xp.
So you can use IRSS' Tray Launcher to lunch mp isntead of mce or maybe mptray or whatever, but this won't be done by mp itself, irrc.
