OK, maybe "bad reception" isn't the right term. The signal quality is at over 95% so that isn't the problem. What I meant to say is that the channels are allready, from the headstation of the cable company, send as a 'bad stream'. So the problem is not MP related but cable company related. Seems like RTL changed something or the cable...

MP1 MP2 install latest TVe0.3 over old one? DE

Not sure if things have changed but you usually have to uninstall tve3 cleint and server and then install the new tve3 svn. One good bit of news is your channels/config etc should be saved unless there is a major change to the database structure which doesn't happen too often thankfully ;)

So Mediaportal has come a long way for NA since I posted the above comment - does anybody know if there is now a way to autoscan the satellites on a schedule? Or is there a way to have TVServer automatically update the channels when idle? Would be a fantastic feature... any thoughts?

Have tested this a little further, Dscaler does work, but not MPV or PowerDVD (7.3) Is there a way how I can make it work with those as well? Another problem is that I loose sound in Live TV if I exit TV and then enter again, have to disable TVService to have sound back again..??
