For me Vista's Media Center works just fine. I just don't like that, it's too "heavy" software for TV viewing.

Sorry, I meant the single frame being displayed every so often in the User Interface, but OK full screen problem. I simply downloaded the latest version from Microsoft, uninstalled the older version from Add/Remove Programs, then installed the new version. The TV display in the UI worked fine after that.

One more day of testing and I have my "TV" section back so I can see the WebEPG / XMLTV generated EPG data on my testmachine (without tuners; will come in a month or so).
The solution was to go back to the TVE3 and MP versions on SVN build number 15824 (sept 10th 2007). So somewhere between sept 10th and sept27th, the SVN builds...
