Did you every get your issue resolved? I am having the same problem. I can force the radio station to be a tv station by editing the xml file and setting isTv=true and isRadio = false. After the change, I can hear the tv station but there is no video.

Yeah I have checked that. It's definitely related to the timeshift buffer, because if I make the buffer smaller it freezes quicker etc.

Found a solution but still problems with gentle.config
Problems seem to come from the was MP connects to SQL Server Express 2005 SP2.
Ist I Use : Network Library=dbnmpntw
in the connection string - forcing Named Pipes connection everything works fine.
Tested this behaviour in my own little proggy.

I manage to solve this issue by swapping the Cards in the pci sockets and reinstall PVR 150 driver this solved the issue now all works fine.

I can confirm that the cause of my problem was my DECT phone/basestation which was about a meter away from the HTPC. The instant I switched the phone's power brick off, the channels appeared on my screen. Thankfully by moving the phone to the other side of the room I can still have it on without it interfering.

I had this problem quite often while using my batch files after resume:
had a command line tool "process":
- mode -k "kill" didn't work, hanged in endless "loop"
- mode -q "quit" worked, when -k didn't (sends WM_CLOSE to process)
2nd one took longer time but helped.
Now I didn't had this effect anymore using your mpstandbyhandler...

Hi, bit of a noob, so not sure if I can help, but which drivers did you install? If you install the Floppy DTV drivers for MCE, then the card shows up as a DVB-T card.
I've never tried the non-MCE drivers though, so I don't actually know if they show up as DVB-C.
