In the "MP Setup" somewhere in the "DVD"-settings is an option that says "show subtitles" and it is checked by default. So everytime a new chapter is reached the subtitles are turned on (a friend of mine had that problem). If you uncheck that option it should work.

I'm using the SVN of yesterday, and so far so good. But what I did notice is that:
a) In a clean install the manual freq scan fills the frequency fields in the channel list
b) When importing a channel list and THEN doing a manual scan does NOT fill the frequencies in the channel list

I finally found what the problem was: My Aston CAM is giving me problems and seems to stop working. It also started to give problems in Mytheatre now. I have now taken my Matrix Revolutions CAM and set it back to the original UCAS 3.1 and everthing works now.

I knew I was forgetting something! Alright so I got that done, then went to test it out. Only once did I get that tinny noise on a channel, and when I went back to that same channel it was gone, so it must be some fluke that happens every once in a while. Then I set up four recordings as such:

you can choose the cover after all the grabbing is done. on the dialog where you can see / change the movie-infos go to the tab "cover" and choose a number from the dropdown field and then click "update" or "preview" or whatever the button is labeled.

Thanks to all who have helped with this, i've solved the problem by getting the system to hibernate rather than standby between recordings. This appears to have made the system much more stable in general and has also solved my problem with the webbrowser plugin not working after a resume. The only downside is i had my remote set up...

None of these are bugs, but I dont know where to move the thread either as some are questons and another is a feature request. Please repost them in the correct places.
I can answer your first one, may or may not be the best answer. You can set a pre-'padding' to the recording. Set it to record at 0:05 and use a 5min pad.
