No. A great idea. I know of a few products that already use compatibility with other HTPC software on their hardware.

I don't know 4 sure, but the latest news seems hardcoded on the indexpage. And the rss feeds comes from the phpBB. So I think the best alternative would be to put the latest news into a phpBB locked forum. This probably would solve it. But, thats something for the webmaster to handle.

That's true for normal tech-geeks, which I'm sure at least 80-90% is here today. But I'm aiming for the bigger audiens. The bigger audiens who isn't do'ers in our words, they surely likes to spread the word about this new way of handeling media.
